Maximum safe amount of front lift? Need some measurements please.

Hey guys,
With the settling of my OME springs up front & the newer DAKAR packs in back, my truck's stance is sitting ass high. I'm not willing to remove leaves from the DAKARs as I do not want to sacrifice height or payload, so I really want to add an additional spacer on top of the OMEs (already have the standard 1/2" spacer which makes it a 3" lift). I'm just wondering how much I can stretch out the front without destroying my CVs etc. So what I need from you guys are measurements of your front ride height regardless of what springs you have up front. Just make sure you take the measurements from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom edge of the front fender to eliminate any variances with tire size. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Just measured mine:
Driver Front: 22"
Pass Front: 22.5"
Driver Rear: 25"
Pass Rear: 26"

You might want to look into ToyTec's Diff drop kit. I know that its pretty cheap and lowers your diff about an inch, so regardless of what susp mod you do, I would highly recommend it to help your CVs.

I already have the diff drop. I have no issues with my CV joints currently. But I want to increase my front a bit to help level the truck out.

you can stack another 1/2' spacer on there-i did it with my revtek. rasied it another inch. make sure you do a diff drop. i used the revtek diff drop and then added my own spacers too to get it where i wanted it. you're going to have to get different nuts for the strut studs and use lock washers.

The OME setup comes with a standard 1/2" spacer to make it a full 3". So your saying I could add an extra inch to that which is what I'm thinking. But again due to all the different setups up front, I really need to have some actual measurements from the center of the hub to fender to eliminate variances in lift kits. Some kits that claim 3" often result in far less. Thanks for the info though.

sorry i don't have that info handy right now but regardless i can tell you that you will achieve another inch of lift by adding another 1/2" between the strut and strut tower.

Toytec does make a 3/4 inch spacer. Maybe replace your 1/2 inch with a 3/4 inch. If I were you I'd call/email Doug or Dale about stacking. Dale can be reached at support@toyteclifts.com . He is their tech guy and knows his stuff.

Yeah, I've spoken with Doug in the past & he's always been real helpful. Just want to know how high people have gone here w/o running into issues.

I'm within a quarter inch of 23" at three corners except for the passenger rear which is at 24", but I have a full tank. I took my spare out from underneath and put it on the pass. side of the bed and when closer to empty it is even all around. I know it's a little anal, but I can bust 180's on dry pavement at 45mph and not flip, so I think it's fairly safe. It's not a sports car, but I drive it like it is and haven't died yet. DR's all around, worn in deaver aal's, and timbren bumps helps a little I guess.
