BFGs are going to win a poll like this all day. I vote for BFGs too.
Mike
Yeah, but why? Silent Armors are a little cheaper and have better ratings on tirerack.com. Longer treadlife too. I've run the BFG's and liked them. I think they look better than the Goodyears, but I'm not sure that's enough to make me discount my other options. I'm interested to hear from those who have the Silent Armors. Just want to make an informed decision.

I think more people would vote for the Silent Armors if they tried them. But they are kinda new, and they're not cheap either. I think they have better wet traction, quieter, and can run more miles than the BFGs. But the BFGs are available in more sizes.
Check the ratings on TireRack.com and you'll see that they rate at the top.
They are both good tires. I chose to go with something different than most people.
BTW, both of those tire brands are made in the USA by union workers. (I'm a union worker)
