Is it possible to lift our Tacomas only 1 or 2 inches? I'm getting ready to have the TSB springs put in back and think that I'd like to add one size larger tires to my stock 16" TRD O/R rims. So I'm thinking if I could bring up the front an inch or so to level out with the added height in the back, this might look good.

Yes, search; either here or on Google....there are numerous lifts that range from 0 -3" and up to 6"

if you want cheap and effective, buy the big spacers from a revtek kit. just the 2" ones. you can buy them seperate and it will level your truck perfectly.
You're going to have a problem fitting larger tires to the stock wheels regardless of how much lift you get in the front. I'm not sure what exactly you mean by "one size larger tires," but if you want to put 285/75/16s on your TRD offroad wheels, you're going to have to get spacers/adapters for the front so that you don't rub your UCAs. This will happen no matter what lift you get. The stock wheels have too much backspacing to run wider tires.
Overall though, you have a good plan. I lifted my front 2.25" and the back 1.5". It leveled out the truck, let me run bigger tires, and didn't create any vibration issues. There are a lot of ways to do it, just depends on how much you want to spend. I'd highly recommend adjustable coilovers in the front.
Getting ready to do a group buy on Bilstein 5100s. They are adjustable from 0-2.5". Some aren't smart enough to understand what one size up means. Yes, you can run 265/75/16's instead of 265/70's on stock setup.

Thanks for the personal attack.
There are many different combinations of width and aspect ratios, and "one size up" can mean a lot of things. For example, one size up in width would kick you up to a 285. I was simply trying to be clear before I gave any advice.

Sorry. Guess that was a little harsh. My fault.

No worries. And thanks for clearing up my post. I should have included that info, but I keep thinking it's obvious that 265/75/16 and 265/70/17 tires will fit because it gets covered in every other thread.
Hey, Guys! New here...I just wanted to know for those who have a 3.0" lift, any problems with entering underground parking garages? Also, any rubbing issues with 275/70/17 @ stock height? If there are, I've been hearing others recommending getting wheel spacers. I eventually will be getting a 2.5" to 3.0" lift, but might end up getting the tires first. Any advice would be much appreciated.
