OEM Fog light Switch and plug

I just received my OEM fog light switch, but am having trouble locating a plug that fits, and the specifications for the switch. Anyone care to help?

I tried searching a few toyota parts catalogs but had no luck.

first part is the plastic, 2nd is the actual connectors? Or just wires that you put into the plug that already has the connectors in place?

The first part number is actual connector itself (yes plastic) and the second part number is the terminal which is need to insert into the first part number to make it work with the OEM foglight switch.

I assume this is what you're trying to do/achieve?

hey, thats almost exactly what I want to achieve. Only thing that shocked me was the 4.95 per connector rate for those metal connectors is a little pricy.

That makes a plug replacement 20+ shipping.

Can you specify which connections are for what in the plug? Thanks

If I can remember correctly I ordered the parts from Norwalk Toyota in Socal and paid about $40 bucks for 2 switches, 2 connectors, and terminals.

Someone here tried to do this and asked me if I can PM them some pics of how I wired the lights (PIAA) up to connectors but my PM box doesn't work and it's not full either. I'll try to yank my switch out and snap some pics for you.

I'm using the PIAA 520 and use the harness it came with but modify it to work with the factory switch.

the switch I have wont fit in either of those two bottom locations on the bottom row. How did you get yours to fit? Did you modify either the switch or hole?

I did have to do some minor trimming to get mine to fit.As for wiring,I tapped into the prewired harness connected to one of the blanks.Looking at the backside of the switch from top to bottom,4 wires. The top wire #1 goes to the yellow wire from the relay. #2 to the fuse. #3 tapped to the green w/white stripe on the harness. #4 tapped to the solid green on same harness.Works awesome,on anytime switch is and switch illuminates when parking lights are on.

Yeah you have to file the switch down a bit. There's two tab and you filed one of them down. You can pull the illumination wire to power up the 2 switches instead of tapping into a fuse block. I'll snap some pics of my setup tomorrow.

you need to do a little altering to make the switch fit, but it does fit:

once i get another set of lights, i'm going to add another factory switch, move the bed outlet switch to the lower right (empty hole) and have all three of the top ones be my fog light switches.

Hahaha, sorry that was a photoshop image from my post #4.

You can look through here when I install the lights a few years back.
