XXX Avid Offroad Light Bar & Sliders Arrived!

Test-fit today. Everything lines up perfectly, no issues. Sliders are bolt on. It's bare metal now. Getting TRD skid, sliders, and light bar coated in black Line-X Xtra which has kevlar and UV protection. What do you guys think?

Nice!! i like those a lot I'm saving some money to get the light bar and sliders myself. I got a 10% discount from them by giving them my email under the But I'm Too Poor! section

I like the light bar! Your smart for not wasting your money on powder coating. I have a set of sliders due for Line-X soon, that's definitely the way to go. So is it just the angle, or do those sliders not bolt to the frame?

Where do the sliders bolt to... doesn't look like they're on the frame.

Just checked their site. The bolt on's mount to the step bar location, the weld on's go to the frame.

Black line X would be a nice accent to the truck! While you are at it you should do your rear bumper too.

This is right from their website.

The bolt-on sliders are an alternative to the step bars. They are designed more for the people that like the looks of sliders but donít need the super strength of weld ons. The bolt-on sliders are not designed to support the weight of the truck but can be used as steps, dent protection, and light off-roading. Think of them as step bars that look like sliders.
They are pretty much a poser sider, they would perform no better and provide no more protection than side steps if you were to smack them on anything offroad.

Looks really great. Not too into how the sliders are mounted. Seems pointless to be called sliders. But it looks great!

How's the saving going on? You just gave me a good idea about the poor section.
