2011 Tacoma Headlight Moisture

I had to change my lamps in the headlights recently.
Boy, what a goofy way to mount the bulbs, using that stupid spring clip.
Even after clipping them in, they still seem loose and one of them developed moisture in the headlight.
Possibly the rubber seal was not fully seated? I took it apart, dried it out and re-installed the bulb, and re-seated the rubber seal.
I hope this solves the moisture problem.
Has anyone else had issues with this?

I had this problem on a different car ('01 Honda Insight) with 9004 bulbs. Problem was exactly that, the rubber cup seal wasn't seated all the way.

And if the bulb is still loose, the clip might need to be bent a little to add more force.

It is possible to get the bulb in place, and clipped down, with the bulb installed incorrectly. My first change, the ears on the bulb were rotated wrong, and it still clipped in. Light pattern was odd was how I knew I fouled up.

More Headlight Problems Now

Ok, in keeping with my "luck" I was trying to bend the spring clip a bit and the mount that holds the clip to the headlight broke off.
Goodbye headlight
I see Amazon sells an aftermarket replacement:
https://www.amazon.com/TYC-20-6577-0...ype=automotive

It's ~$50 and seems to have good reviews.
Anyone have any input on this headlight?
