Just FYI to you guys who mount the detectors up high, you'll have next to none laser detection.
The beam is less than 40 inches wide/high when he's clocking you, and he's shooting at your license plate and/or headlights, so the chances of it hitting your detector are very slim.
Now on the same note, even if you have it mounted low and it picks up the laser, when you get that laser warning, you're already screwed because he's getting your speed right then and there.
So either way he's got you, just one way you know about it, and one way you don't. :P
Unless of course you get a laser shifter, then it's all good regardless!
You'll also get degraded performance on other radar bands if it's behind those dots or behind that strip of window tint at the top if you have it.
