hybrid technology

I am a student in Unviversity of Maryland Baltimore County. I have to write research paper about hybrid technology for my English class. I need to interview with someone who is worked in hybrid technology fields. I made 5 questions. Please help me. Thank you.

1. Why hrid technology better than gasoline?

2. How hybrid technology technology different than ohter technology?

3. How hybrid cheaper to operate?

4. Are there any unusual limitaions in using a hybrid?

5. What are some any tax or toll or HOV(High Occupancy Vehicles) advantages for hybrids?

1) Hybrid technology is better because it bridges the gap between where we are now and where we want to be in the future. It's not a complete solution but at least it's a real solution that's available now

2) Use wikipedia.com =)

3) Hybrids no more expensive to operate than a conventional car. There is no power steering fluid to replace, longlife engine coolant, brakes wear out slower due to regenerative braking and so on.

4) not that I can think of.

5) that I don't know since I'm not in the States other than California's HOV use for hybrids. You'll have to research more about the rules and regulations.
