textured dashboard on 2006

Have you seen the textured plastic Toyota is using for 2006 on the dash/doors/steering wheel? Too bad they changed from the smooth, satin black trim used for 2005. I've seen about 10 different 2006 Prius's in various color schemes anbd they all have that textured black plastic.

Yes, they've changed to textured plastic for 06 and the "metal" trim replaces the satin finish on the steering wheel, and dashboard for 06. I've yet to see the textured dash as I haven't seen an 06 yet. One of the reasons that I think they changed it is that too many people have been complaining about the smooth plastic and not giving an upscale feel. Also, the smooth plastic is actually "painted". Don't rest your sunscreened arm on the door panel of an 04/05 cause the sunscreen will eat away at the "paint"
