if my memory is correct, every car needs to have their light reset by someone. it doesnt do it by itself. out of all those cars, there was only one which was a 1994 integra gsr that had a button under the steering wheel. somehow that button was working with the maint. light . look for something like that. I suggest you also look at your car's manual. it might say something about it. Just my 02 cents. hope i could help.

^There is no "button" that turns the maintenance req'd light off in any new Toyotas/Lexus'. It says how to turn it off in your owner's manual. Its going to involve turning the key to the "ON" position a few times and some other actions in between or something along those lines.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Yep, it's in the owner's manual. I don't have it with me right now so I'll find the page(s) when I get home if you can't find it.
