Thank you for the idea. I went to the menu and it indicated that volume was at 4. I moved it to 5 and there is no change. It tells me to go to the highlighted route and your system will begin. That I can hear fine. But then once I get to the route, nothing. If I don't make a turn, no voice telling me to u turn at next available and if I am off route the system does not recalculate my directions.

Any other ideas?

Try resetting the battery. Remove the negative terminal for 10-15 minutes. See if that helps. But you will have to re-program your presets.
