HH stock tires

Hi, I'm new here. Am waiting for my HH Ltd w/nav (silver/ash) to arrive around Xmas. Would like to know if anyone has had any problems with the tires that come on the HH Ltd? I'm told they will be Goodyear Integrity tires. I read on another board that some owners are replacing them early because they have 1-ply sidewalls and tend to blow out from side scrapes. Also, that the HH rides and brakes better with upgraded tires. Any experiences/opinions? Thanks!

Hi, I took delivery in June 05 and my limited came through with Michelin Energy LX4 tires.
It rides and handles like a car at all speeds. I'm located on the west coast of Florida and love it.

you must be really serious about your car to consider replacing OEM tires! Did you do it?

Just saw this post (a few months late) ... I took delivery on 12/30/05 in New York, and mine came with the Michelin Energy LX4 tires also. It got me through the black ice, snow, and slush from last weekend's blizzard just fine!

LOL! I was told the car would come with Goodyear Integrity tires ... and on another board, HiHy owners were complaining about them being one-ply and prone to blowouts from side scrapes, so that's why I was considering replacing them. However, when I picked up the car, it had Michelins instead. Much better tires, supposedly. So, no I didn't replace them. Love my HiHy, BTW! Have had since Dec. 30.

I got my HIHY late July, Limited with Nav and it does have GoodYear tires. I would have prefered the Michelin LX4 which I used on my prior car a Dodge Grand Sport Caravan. I have only 4000 miles on it and the tires are fine so far but thanks for the tip.

As far as the rest of the HIHY, We love it. In NH rolling hills we are maintaining about 31mpg, Took a NY Thruway trip and only did 20 mpg. Glad I don't do much highway driving My Van did 24 on steady Highway
