Anti-theft systems for HiHy

Does anyone know about the "Anti-Theft Alarm w/Engine Immobilizer"?

Apparently, Toyota says in it's brochures that this comes standard on the HiHy Limited (the non-Limited HiHy comes with only the Engine Immobilizer). When I asked our dealer about Anti-theft systems (i.e. the Toyota VIP alarm system), they said that the VIP isn't available for the HiHy because of the "electronics" with the hybrid system. They explained to me about the Engine Immobilizer, but didn't really know anything about the "Anti-Theft Alarm" that comes with the Limited.

BTW, I'm a newbie and we're picking up our Bluestone 4wd-i Limited w/NAV today.
