USA Removing the navigation DVD

I am attempting to remove the Navigation DVD from my 2006 limited highlander.


??? How to you do it???

Wow. I'm a real sarcastic type, my instructions would have started with...

1. Find your vehicle.

2. Approach your vehicle.

3. Unlock the driver's side door.

4. Open driver's side door.

5. Locate driver's seat.

6. Look under driver's seat.

Ah, er...why is he "trying to remove it"? What is the purpose. I don't think there has been any street changes since 2006, right? Or is he simply trying to copy it for "back up" purposes?

Any means of updating the nav system?

Is there an update available for the nav system? I just bought a 2006 HiHy Limited. So far so good, but I sure would like the newest version.
