bike rack

Hi All,
I am new to the Forum and to the Highlander Hybrid. We just bought and took delivery of a '07 AWD Limited. I searched but didn't find anything on bike racks for the vehicle. Any suggestions? The obvious choice would seem to be one that goes onto the factory roof rack but that may have some drawbacks--ease of putting the bike and rack up there and and getting it off, wind resistance, and hence milage are two that come to mind. We are getting rid of a Ford Explorer and on that we used a rear door mounted rack which worked fairly well but I am not sure how well it would work on the HiHy (I hope that I have the abbreviation right) given the top mounted spoiler. Any one have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.

I wanted a trailer hitch for other reasons, so I bought the Toyota hitch, and then a hitch-mounted bike rack. I'm really very happy with it.

Thanks for your reply, chicagoandy. I got a similar reply on the plain vanilla Highlander site as well. I will look into the hitch/rack combination.
