Thumbs up Picked mine up on Friday!

I just picked up my 08 HH limited on Friday afternoon from Toyota of Berkeley... my sales guy thinks it is possibly the first one driven off of a lot in the US, since the ship it was on(to Benicia) was the first one he knew of coming across the Pacific with 08 HH's for retail sale, and he had it trucked down and prepped it super-fast.

None of the sales guys there besides our guy even knew it had arrived- they were stopping us as we tried to drive away from the dealership to take a peek inside

Loving it so far... using Econ, I'm at 27.5 mpg over the first 150 miles, with hilly driving and all. I've also been able to use EV mode to drive the 1.2 miles of flat residential streets from my house to the local supermarket, although you do have to be careful not to accelerate too hard or exceed about 25 mph.

Silver with gray interior, pretty much loaded except for no rear seat entertainment system. Remote engine starter, VIP security, running boards, exhaust tip, etc. Liking the navigation system so far, never had one of those in a car I owned before.

Need to buy a car cover(my driveway has a magnolia tree over it that likes to drip goo)- do you think a cover designed for an 07 Highlander would fit the new model?

wow, congrats!

how much do they run for? (everything except RSES and none of the accessories you added). The Build Your Toyota site doesn't have the pricing for the option packages yet.

I don't have the sheet with the exact prices for the accessories(engine start, running boards, extra security, etc), but I think they added up to about $2k US or thereabouts. Total price was $47k US before taxes, which is a number that includes those accessories.

not bad.

Our regular Highlander Limited 4x4 is $49,500. Add nav is $53k. No RSES. So I don't wanna know how much our HiHy Limited will cost.
