It revs higher than the other cars.
With a CVT, the engine rev does NOT correspond to your speed but rather how much power you're requesting through your right foot.
At WOT, it spins the engine to the rpm with max torque and stays there to deliver the power you're requesting.
With a regular car, you're needing to shift to keep the engine in its powerband and chances are, it's not near the redline (unless you have a manual and delay the shift til the needle bounces off the redline.
