just like REN69 said, for the time being we're only allowed to import cars 15 years old to the month into Canada, and 25 years or older into the US.......so R33 and R34's are not yet legal here......find us good clean cars from '92 and earlier landed to our front door, and maybe someone will bite..

good luck selling....:)

As far as the states go RB Motoring can and still is legalizing Skylines. The only current Skyline that is 100% legal is the R33 cause that is the only car that MotorRex sent out for crash testing. If you don't believe me check out their website. They also have a huge inventory of wheels too. Great Guys! And this is coming from an RB owner.

Theres a whole different world out there guys. Its a lot easier to import a car into the US than you people think. It is still hard, but you guys take it out of proportions. From what you guys say, you almost say its impossible unless its 15 years old or older. There are more cars imported into the US than you know and are made completely street legal. Some people just don't wanna let out the secrets.

That still doesn't change the fact that you can't "legally" import a bnr34 to anywhere in the United States. Most of the guys that do it say it's legal, but all they do is register it as another type of nissan. :disappoin Motorex had their exception license to import skylines to America revoked. At this point, even if you were to do the crash testing and follow all of the detunning, emissions, and modifications, no dmv will give one a vin number. Due to the upcoming release of the "American" Skyline, you will never see a legal skyline imported here again, until the year 2024.

edit: After reviewing the site, I've come to the conclusion that they are in the business of selling and getting the cars to America. Not making any of them legal here.

They are actually still being imported to the US and street legal registered as a Skyline. Its like I said. There are ways. The people who know how to do it just aren't telling. The only reason why not many people import them is because there aren't many people buying them. And, many people hear all the same things as you say.

You can do any thing if you know the right people. Friend has a non US RHD jeep. Told DMV it was for his job and that he was a postal worker. It is not for sale in the states due to failing emissions. Drives it every where. It will fail tail pipe checking, ECM reads good on OB2 testing. :)
