Speedorama: Saturday, January 26, 2002

Is anyone planning on attending on the Saturday? I will be going there and I think so is Darryl from Waterloo (yes DS is actually alive and I think working in London right now on co-op).

I went last year too... I didn't really want to go this year but my Rustang friend was all pumped about going to "rice-o-rama" so I went. haha

Yeah I remember.

This year was pretty much the same. I didn't get much out of it since I wasn't looking for car audio since I already got what I want; wasn't looking for rims since I already got what I want (which is what I was looking for last year at rice-o-rama) and there was nothing really performance related there which is what I would be looking for.

Speaking of which, there was rice of all kinds there... domestic rice too, as much as import rice. Ouch. I don't see how extravagant bodykits, huge mufflers and ugly shiny paint jobs that look like womens make-up is actually considered tasteful... then again maybe I just like the simple look more than others... and the classic domestics don't appeal to me one bit so yes it was a waste of $12 for me... and it made my bad ankle worse. F@cking swollen from all the walking around. I guess it wasn't ready for that yet!

seriously...i've never seen so many riced Cavaliers in my life...it was pretty much the same crap as last year (and the year before) we were in and out in under an hour and a half...damn waste of money, but at least it killed some of my afternoon off :grin:
