Hehehe, oops sorry guys, I forgot to post the pictures up on this forum. I had them on my computer for a while. Thanks to Ken [sPooN AE86] for taking the pictures and for scanning them.
Where is Gabriel. I thought he took some photos himself. Ken, do you remember the address to his website (was it "nexus.racing.com", or something like that?) Oh well, enjoy!
Oh yes, fromt left to right:
Nick - Red AE86 coupe
Gabriel - "Soon to be hybrid" AE86 hatchback
great ae86 show, is this the scarboro town thingy?
anyways concerning the F20C swap into an ae86.. hmm can you say alot of custom fabrication? i think it will be along longer than soon to be.. read up the article on club4ag.. it is definately not an easy job by no means..
physically it barely fits. but it is fuel injected etc etc..
just think... you have to CREATE your own exhuast manifold... and lower the crossmember..
it is possible, but i can;t imagine it would be feesible..
nuff said.
andrew
That's true, I doubt that Gabriel will attempt the swap. I don't know, Hotstaff are the only people who I can imagine doing such a swap. I think those are the same people who did a twin-turbo 20 valve in an AE86!?
Hahaha, Takumi pose? I didn't realize that was a Takumi pose!? Cool, hahaha, that's one way to stand out - Where a yellow t-shirt with a blue jean jacket and brown pants (If I'm not mistaken, that's what Takumi wears often). Okay, I should stop watching Initial D.
Zaheer took a few pictures himself but they need to be uploaded. I'll post them on this forum once they're up.
And also, Andrew you posted on Dori-Kaze asking who is "Xee". His name is Zaheer, the one with a black AE86 hatchback with Supra rims, in the photos.
Oh, and yes, this was the Scarborough Town meeting. Quite a long time ago. I forgot to post the images. Oops
These pictures were from quite a long time ago. I think the meet took place on July 6th, or somewhere around there.
I think George from Import Society - with one of the baddest of all AE86 in Toronto - wants to organize a meeting this weekend. It may be too late now to tell everyone.
And there are just too many things going on this week. So we can't have a meeting this weekend. Next Sunday is the Import Society Drag Series so that's a definite no-no.
Any ideas?
We all want to have another meet because the summer is over. Perhaps a bigger meet. Hehehe, last time, only six or seven people showed. Suggestions?
Its alot of work to do such a swap but i seen worst ones here in montreal.I seen a Northstar V8 powered Mx3 precidia and that was mad fitting and custum tuning.Im sure that F20 engine would be very well suited for drifting. If your going to do it tell cause i got mad hookups im an ex Teg racer.
i thinks its pretty useless swapping a f20 into a ae86. whats the point? just use an s2000....the ae86 offers really no better advantages over the s2000 other than its got a hardtop...waste of time and waste of money in my humble opinion.
Nick has a good point. I'd rather buy a S2000, well that is, if I had the money I would.
Those Advan rims are RARE! His name is Neil and he does solo II, I think. It's brand new when he bought it.. and he bought if for cheap. I don't know the model of his rims, because I've never seen them before. They are like those A3A rims.... only that they are two spoke and not three!!
Imagine these with only two-spoke:
Try to imagine it. You might have seen them before.. but they are new to me, and they look rad on his car.
