Although helmets are not enforced at these lapping events, I STRONGLY recommend bringing one and wearing one. Cheap helmets can be purchased at Motorcycle outlets, but I recommend purchasing based on amount of protection provided and not a thrift buy.

Remember, that all activities at the track is done at your own risk, so please take safety precautions before endeavoring in this type of activity.

Jover,

How has it been. Good to see you back in Toronto.

Do you know anyone I might know, who is going on Oct 27th? Any other AE86'ers, or AE92'ers?

I might go to watch but it's not half as fun to watch than to drive.

Thanks,
Kevin

A few members from clubs like the 240sx and Prelude club are coming. Maybe we can have a FR vs FF challenge!

Can I have the URL to the 240SX club website? I thought of buying an S13 last spring, but eventually I favoured the AE86.

Interested in looking at the cars in the club.

By the way, Ratko, have you ever visited the Nissan dealership around Morningside and Sheppard (I forgot exactly where)? I went there once with a friend and found a nicely modified white kouki 240SX parked right outside the main door.

yes, it's not much to look at... our web designer is busy with schoolwork and won't be finishing off his designs till november.

i made the current placeholder page... at least it's easy to navigate. i'm supposed to be coding.

The club has some very nice 240SX. Looking through the images of the first meeting. Awesome!

Thanks,
Kevin

thanks for the praise.

technically that's not the first meeting... there was a meet in july, but i wasn't there for it, and only one picture was taken with a ghetto oldschool camera. i've gotta bug the guy who took it to get it scanned.

interesting thing about the meet yesterday is that we had at least two people with digital cameras... and we all forgot to bring them. pah. we got a roll of film with 35mm pictures that will hopefully be developed soon, but you don't get 40mb of pictures taken that way.

I know for sure of only four SR'd 240's in Toronto... and two have been wrecked. (one white S13 I forgot how, the other T-boned a guy making a left turn too slow...). A black 91 (who was at ImportFest) is in our club, there is a white 89 who isn't. I'm sure there are other examples, but they're not in our club and haven't shown up at any of our meets. None with S13 front end conversions, though. The guy with the green/purple zenki S14 coming this Saturday wants to get an S13 coupe and do a S13 front end conversion with SR.
