Hey guys - did a search, didn't find what I needed...
I'm on the verge of buying an xB and will most likely be gutting the rear seats and cargo area to set it up for hauling more stuff - photo gear and a couple dogs. I've hunted around on the net but haven't really been able to find good internal dimensions to know what I can expect in terms of working area. While I was doing the test drive I measured the distance between the rear door handles which I know is over 4ft and meets one of my requirements but I didn't measure anything else.
Here's what I would love to know if anyone has the time to measure:
- Distance between rear wheel wells
- Height of rear cargo deck and ceiling
- Height of rear cargo deck and rear door jamb
- Height gained by removing rear seats and cargo holds (spare tire, cubbies) - this stuff will most likely just be moved elswhere, with a new flat area replacing it.
