I hope you'll be ok with adjusting to a much slower car. The gas mileage is going to be nice compared to the WRX. But the fun to drive factor is going to go down. It is for some people the perfect car.

One thing really nice about it is the resale value. There is almost no hit on resale compared to anything else out there.

Not sure if you checked out google images but here ya go.

And if you haven't stumbled across www.scionlife.com yet check it out.

I know im used to fast cars. Owned an Integra, Prelude and WRX but im over the speed. I really need to save my money and by purchasing an XB it will help me out alot since im planning to go back to school. Im sure they are gas savers.
Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks

I really wanted a WRX ... and REALLY wanted an STI ... but I hear where you are coming from.

Lots of people's first visual impression of the xB isn't usually good but I think it has more character than many cars out there. Its definately unique. I think its pretty good looking. Although its size compares to the Honda Element, i think its WAY better looking than that plastic thing. The options available for customizing are really good. I've heard its got quite a bit of space inside for holding whatever you want.

Good luck...

i love my box so what if i get smoked by kids on bikes??? "2 miles an hour... so everybody sees you.."

and as long as you never have to sit in your own back seats, the xB is comfortable as hell. you have leg room up the yin yang back there... but the seats are really upright... like amc theater seats.

I love the xB! I'll be buying one next month for my daily driver. I have a modified RX-7 that is my toy, but it's not good for a daily. Even though I haven't bought the xB yet I'm already looking into the TRD goodies for it and I can't wait to drive it everywhere. I have a feeling that the RX-7 is going to get some much needed rest once the xB gets here!!

I love my xb, pletny o' room, good gas milage, and something people in here do not mention enough TOYOTA QUALITY!! I've had 4 celicas, including one all-trac (may it rest in pieces) 1 supra and 1 corolla, all of which have been wonderful. You cant go wrong IMO it drives pretty nicely too, surprisingly enough for a rolling square.

The tC's gas mileage isn't all that great. It uses up gas like my MR2 ...

I'd be excited about it if Scion had brought the "Open Deck" version over. As it is, the muted colors and understated styling aren't really getting me interested.
