I've had my XB for about a month now and love it. The only two problems are no armrest and I have two rattles (one from the glovebox and the other I haven't found the source yet. Anyone else haveing the rattleing problem? Any suggestions on fixing it.

Thanks

ok, take it to a dealership, there is actullay a TSB out for some xBs for a dash rattle, its waranty and a R&R dash, so if it bugs you have them run your vin and they can tell you if yours is one of them

XB Dash Rattle

My dash rattles by the speedometer 85% of the time. If I apply downward pressure to it, it stops. Usually happens on first drive of the day. Usually between speeds of 55 & 61mph and goes away. Also sometimes occurs at higher rpm going from 2nd to 3rd, and from 3rd to 4th. Not the others. Taken to the dealer ship 3 times....no tsb on that dash rattle yet....they only have some for a trunk rattle, windshield wiper rattle and a radio dash rattle so far.

This also occured in both the auto and the manual that I test drove.

Help please

Do what I did. I made the service writer go for a ride with me, and made sure he noted the rattles and then I made sure they were listed on my work order as well. Seems they manage to fix the console rattle and my mystery rattle seems to have left as well. Related? any hoo just apply a little pressure to them and you'll get it taken care of. Squeeky wheel... you know the rest.
