I want my car!!!
I ordered my xB last week and I have no patience.. 4-6 weeks from the time of order.. Poop!!!
On the other hand, it was just a touch under $15K and I put down $500 and have rounded up almost $5K as down payment without strapping myself.. If only $10K would fall into my pocket...
Well, I was already offered 5% and pre-approved before I even ordered the car.....
The part I hate is that I have my 1997 T100 and a 1987 VW GTI (soon to be for sale) and haven't had a car payment for about a year.. I hate the thought of car payments, but like the thought of having something
1)- NEW
2)- Completely reliable
3)- Under warranty
Car payments.. Icky!!
The other GREAT thing is insurance. $240 every 6 months for low deductable full coverage.
In other words, I WANT MY NEW CAR!!!
35 mpg sounds good, too.. It's not 50 mpg like my bikes get, but the bikes suck in IL/WI winters..
Speaking of that, I just got home from a loop around Lake Superior on my BMW. 1650 mile round trip in a bit less than 4 days. Great trip, but it sucks that everytime I stopped for fuel, it was another $10 in the US and $14 CAD in Canada..
NO!!!
I love that T100 and will have a bit of a sniffle when it finally dies.. I've never owned a vehicle that I've enjoyed more than that truck, and I'm 40.. When it dies, I'll look for a low mile T100 or buy a used Tundra..
Too bad you don't live around here, Renton. I bet i have the car and tranny that you are looking for. I have 5 manual and 4 auto XBs on the lot here.
I've found used xB's, but the price is as much or MORE than new ones..
Most that I found were within a thousand dollars of what I paid for my new 2006 with zero miles.. I don't have a lot of patience, but I've studied resale and money enough to know that the new Scions are a great deal.. I'll wait..
err.. at 1.28%, that'll be...USD19,531.25. Yup, you read right. An xA or xB for the price of a somewhat loaded tC. I pity the fool who buys it. Out of the 4, I've seen on the lots around here, only 1 has been sold. Idiot.
I'm very close to Washington. The nearest one I know is Foothills Toyota Pontiac in the I-5 Auto Mall.

If your going for an Xa, Xb or Tc, come here to Renton and see me. Bob Bridge Scion is pretty much the only stand alone Scion dealer in the whole PNW. What that means is we get more volume equaling more cars. If your looking for a car, just save yourself a lot of waiting for the car to arrive and come check us out. My name is Nico give me a call if you are interested
Cool. But I already got my car last year. It's in my sig. I'll check out Bob Bridge Scion if my friend ones one. Hmm, Renton, that's quite a bit farther than Foothills Toyota Pontiac.

It might be a bit far, but we can do almost all the paperwork through fax or mail. So all you would pretty much have to do is driver here to pick'er up.
WTF???????? Full coverage??? How'd you manage that??
Simple..
1. I'm old.
2. I have a perfect (knock on wood) driving record.
3. Multi car discount, plus my homeowners insurance is with them, too..
4. I don't live in a big city..
The last 3 are just fine, but being old (I'm 40) sucks snot.. These numbers are straight from my State Farm Agent. I'm actually checking around for better rates, too..
