need help: intake related?

Ok I installed an injen short ram intake couple months ago... it was working fine... Now when im in a complete stop... About 30 seconds later feel like the engine is choking... Meanin feel like air not goin into the engine,I hear th hissing noise goin on and off, the rpm almost reach to 0 then back to almost 1...then when I putem back to neutral then to drive its ok... Then later it happen again... Not as worst though... I reinstall the intake again... Still the same situation... Yesterday I changed the intake to stock... I already died out once... And when I was driving home... It felt like it was choking... Anys suggestion? Thanks

I have the injen intake for the xB. Did your intake come with a little filter you had to cut that large vaccum hose in half and place on there? The older injen intakes didnt, and filter oil and debris from the pipe screwed up the maf sensor, if you dont, call injen and they should send you one, put your stock intake on and take it to the dealer, if its the maf, it will be replaced under warranty.

by the way, my first post, hello all!, i have an 04 polar white xb-5 spd of course lol

I don't think its the intake... Cause when I had the stock intake the lights came on.... I check with the obdII scanner... Got

1. P0441 evaporative emission control system incorrect purge flow

2. P0442 evaporative emission control system leak detected (small leak)

3. P0446 evaporative emission control system vent control circuit malfunction

I replaced the gas cap with a locking gas cap... Still light come on... Then I pull the efi fuse then back in to reset it... The after 40 miles or so... Lights come on... Any more suggestion? Thanks
