oil level

I changed my oil about 1 month ago. today I decided to check the level. Level is higer about an inch over the "F" mark. IS it normal ? I checked the manual and it sas that oil level has to be between "L" and "F" marks. If it will be higher then F it might damage engine.

I need advise : what should I do?

an inch over the fill mark is a little much but you likely wont have any issues. Do you remember how much oil you put in your engine?

I'd say drain and refill the oil just to be safe. I'ev seen a few engines running with twice the amount of oil in them that they should have. They didn't blow but they weren't happy.

did you check the oil cold or hot? it gets sloshed around easily after the engine been running. will give you an inaccurate reading.

It wont bo that major of a difference hot or cold but you want to make sure that the engine is off unlike an Auto tranmission where the engine needs to be running and up to operating temp.
