So what year Tc did I buy exactly?

Bought a new Tc last week. My first new car purchase.

Let me start at the beginning: I test drove what I assume is an '06 (it had the radio controls on the steering wheel) I then went to scion.com and custom built the car and printed it out for the dealer to order it. The Scion website with the "build your own" section also had the controls on the steering wheel. I handed him the paper saying that was what I wanted and that it was the exact same configuration as the Tc I test drove just in black sand pearl instead of azure pearl.

Dealer did some calling around and there were no BSP Tc's left in the state, according to him (Washington St.) He got ahold of someone at the factory in Japan and snagged me a Tc that was just coming off the assembly line. They put it on a boat from Japan last week and it should arrive at my dealership in about 7 days for me to go pick up. So if it was just assembled it has to be an '06 right? My vehilce buyers order (basically a receipt listing full purchase price after they do the locate search) the dealer gave me just says "Toyota Scion 2005" It doesn't even say Tc. I'm so confused (and want the steering wheel radio controls!).

Help

*edit* I need a new forum name :p

Ok. I'll know for sure when the car arrives next week. It 'should' be an '06 since that is what I test drove and what I told the dealer to get me. But I guess it's a wait and see game.

you should have contacted me first, we had quite a few BSP on the lot for sale and they were 06.

Did you already go through finance? If you didn't and its an 05 don't buy it if you don't want it. I am a salesman for Scion and i can get the car you want in the year you want. I work at a stand alone Scion dealer and we are able to carry the most invatory on the lot.

If you don't end up buying it, or choose not to, shoot me and email, mutinyno9@hotmail.com and my name is Nico or you can contact me on my personal phone 206.713.6629
