Hi,

I'm thinking about getting a Scion xA and was hoping that I could eventually make it a quick little car. I was wondering if it would be possible to get it to run low 14's for the 1/4 mile? If so, how much money would it run me?

I've heard that there are some Superchargers and Turbochargers available but they don't add very much HP. Someone please set me straight if I'm wrong. Also, I would like to try to avoid an engine swap.

its a 1.5 without doing some serious work to making it stronger to handle the boost you might be able too this would require pulling the motor and doing a complete rebuild lowering the compression new pistons and rods. otherwise a swap is more than likely easier to work with.

So either way it's going to cost me a lot of money? Also, are their any engines that are a direct swap?
