JL Audio Stealthbox for Tc. Your input please.

My car was in the R&D dept today to look over the application possibilities. I wanted something that would fit under the carpet and take the place of the PS foam storage. A 10W1v2 enclosure would fit, but it would leave only a .5" opening and that's not acceptable for output. Personally, I would go with a couple of 6W0 ported which would have the same power handling and output as the 10W1v2 sealed, but we will not make a Stealthbox with drivers smaller than 10".

Here is what the application will be:

a single 10" driver in a sealed enclosure
fits on the DS or PS (not both)
will not go under the carpet

Here's where I need feedback from Tc owners:

1 - Passenger or driver side? (we're leaning passenger side)
2 - Would you be willing to cut the side panel so a deeper woofer can be used?
A 10W1v2 enclosure would fit into that cavity area on the passenger side panel and look flush when it's done. If a consumer was willing to cut out a piece of the side panel, the appearance would be the same, but a 10W3v3 or 10W6v2 can be used. The extra depth would be in the area behind the stock panel.
3 - Stealthbox loaded with a 10W1v2, 10W3v3, or 10W6v2? The cost of the enclosure would be about the same, but the divers add to the cost. The Stealthox is shipped preloaded with the driver so there are no options. The SQ will be similar but the bigger divers handle more power so there is more output to be had.
4 - About 2" of the trunk floor flap will need to be trimmed off so you can still remove it to get to the spare and storage, is this acceptable?
5 - A Stealthbox with a 10W1v2 would retail $500 - $550 range
A Stealthbox with a 10W3v3 would retail $550 - $600 range
A Stealthbox with a 10W6v2 would retail $750 - $800 range
These are estimates. I feel that the 10W3v3 is the happy medium and is what most Stealthbox applications are loaded with. Which would you buy? It seems that many of the JL Audio systems Tc owners post have W6v2 or W7 so I could be wrong about this.

The goal of the Stealthbox is to minimally impact the functionality of the vehicle and create the best driver/enclosure combo. Much of the R&D time will be spent making sure that the system matches the sonic signature of the vehicle.

We start work next week so your feedback would be valuable.

Thank you!

Ok. Based upon all the feedback I received from the forums I posted this (mostly scionlife) this is what I can conclude.
Cutting the panel is OK if it means getting a higher displacement driver with everyone who has responded.
The Stealthbox should go on the passenger side.
There is a split as far as the driver that should be loaded. About half feel the W3v3 would offer all the performance they need for the price. The rest said that they would pony up the extra cash to squeeze all the performance they can get out of the area the W6v2.
Interestingly, many people who said W6v2 already have systems in their cars and would probably not buy the Stealthbox anyway.
I personally think that the W3v3 is the ticket from a performance/price point. I have a W3v3 in my car now and it kicks ass. If it were my decision, I would go with the W6v2, but I am not paying either way so I am not a good example.

So one simple and final question:

W3v3 or would you spend the extra $150 to extract the extra performance the W6v2 would offer? Your input is appreciated, we start work this week.
