Scion in Canada?

Hi All, i am just wondering if anyone know about SCION in canada? I have seen at lesat 2 scion with Ontario plate this past week already, I am just wondering where did these car came from? i can't seem to locate a dealership anywhere

don't know how they could've registered the tC in canada, and get a plate.. since according to the Canadian Dept of Transportation the tc CANNOT be fitted with the correct seatbelt anchor positions. Seems the Canadians don't like where the seatbelts are anchored.. So it is not legal to register it in Canada.. Sounds like the police will catch the person when the plate doesn't match up to the car..About the importation I don't know about the xA and xB.. but there are NO Scion dealers in canada.. it's a US only brand..

friend's dad works at toyota dealership and said that the dealers are starting to experiement bringing them up from thr states
but from what i heard the profit margin is very slim so there won't be too many up in toronto
i've seen tons for sale at various used car dealerships tho
i WISH they sold the tC in Canada

It would be a good idea for Toyota Canada to get Scion. Matrix or Lexus IS is really all we got, we don't even get the Celica anymore. Its almost like Toyota Canada has given up in this market.
