sup guys im new to the forum and was hopin mabe some of u guyz could help me out. Im lookin to buy mabe a new '05 or '06 Tc, Have any of you had problems with it? I know its a new car but is the handling good and how is it with gas? I have a long drive to work everyday and im lookin for a car that would be reliable mostly for drivin to work everyday and also havin some fun with it, Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My 06 is perfect. Gas is great if you don't flog it all the time, I get about 270mi to the tank (300 even if I top it off) in a 5spd and I run it moderately to fairly hard. Toyota reliability can't be beat.

If you're buying used check that all the recall repairs have been made. everything up to a certin point in 06 had issues with the sun roof visor breaking if a debris hit it.

ya thats the kinda stuff i was afraid of. A friend of mine had told me Toyota was recalling a lot of their parts on most of their vehicles, but mostly with their trucks. Just wanted to double check with you guyz, I know i cant go wrong with the Tc its such a bad-ass looking car. Hopefully when i get enough money i can buy one. Very glad to notice that the supercharger does not kill the warranty cuz thats a must-have.

Its actually a really fun car to drive regardless of being S/C'ed. Springs and a trd sway bar make it very nimble and a short shifter makes it fun to slam thru the gears and while the engine is from a Camry, its still a bigger displacement 4 that's geared well and torquey as balls.

Its typical for a brand new car model to have some recalls, the sunroof thing is no big deal and you get a free limited edition Jada toy tC when they do the work.
