custom s/c shafts!

Shafts will start shipping next week. For information on the product, pictures, and ordering visit my website www.tcsuperchargers.com. I will have a handful of these in stock and ready to ship next week! I'm also working on an install tutorial with pictures.

Well i finally got around to getting a shaft made since i haven't driven the car since November! All is well and these shafts are really nice, perfect for someone who had the bearings go out and damage the shaft (most likely if your bearings have gone out they also did damage to the shaft and the shaft will keep breaking your new bearings until its replaced). These shafts are way tougher than stock and unlike stock they are fully balanced and come with better bearings which will help reduce friction/heat and hopefully last much longer than the stock ones do on the 05-06 s/c And since TRD and Vortech won't sell us parts I took matters into my own hands. Here is the full link on scionlife http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic....3995094#3995094

I needed at least 5 orders to get things going, I think I have filled those on scionlife already. After this i will need at least another 5 orders to get any shafts made so any guys with problems this is a good time to jump on this, expected build time is 2-3 weeks from this Saturday. I am trying to get all orders in by Friday.

Price for shaft including the bearings already pressed on $490 paypal or $475 with a check.

gompka@tcsuperchargers.com

Feel free to PM me with all questions!

P.S. some of my feedback http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=247852 I have sold lots of stuff on a bunch or forums and ebay etc so I have many references if needed

Great documentation.

This would be a great parts bulletin.

What is the difference in weight between the two shafts?

Not much difference in weight, my shafts are made of lighter material but are thicker. So end weight is about the same.

P.S. I confirmed that these will not work with the 07+ superchargers.

I made an error today, got off the phone with a friend who had both an 06 and an 07 shaft in front of him and he confirmed it is indeed identical. So this works for all you 07-09 guys also.

What about the updated 05-06 SC? ...I believe it is the same as the 07 but I'm not sure.

No, the updated s/c just has a different transmission mounting bracket, as the originals were prone to cracking.

After my 05-06 unit crapped out and took the short block with it, it was replaced with a slightly different looking blower/shaft unit and the manual that came with it said '2007 Scion tC' at the top.

Shafts are done everything is solid, i am working on putting together the tutorial from the video and pics i took installing it in my car. These will be shipping this weekend!

Here are some pics:

This is how the shafts start their lives....

Here they are ready and wrapped up for me to take home

Two pics of the new woodruff keys, they will be cut to length and already on the shaft when you get it. These are hardened to the maximum possible for this type of steel!

And the shafts!

Here are a couple pictures of the shop and their machines, each of which cost about as much as a house! $500,000 a piece yikes!

I have 6 more left guys, these are 10% off through labor day. So $441 paypal or $427.50 cash. I need these gone guys, I made these to help the sc people out there and so far its backfired a bit.

I want to emphasis the fact that I thank all of you who bought shafts from me, but at the same time I am asking for help in selling these. Many other forums have removed my posts about these and asked me to pay advertising fees. These were originally made for my own use, but many people with no other options asked me to make these to help them out. I had to buy 18 of these, as that is the minimum any shop would make. I need to sell all of these, 6 left, in order to barely make enough money to compensate for the time and all the driving i had to do to make this happen. These things are on my credit card and are getting charged interest every month. So please let your friends with s/c's know about these. Only 6 left and I have lowered the price its a great time to buy.
