I've had two friends send thiers away.......both were bosted. One with a turbo installed improperly and the other was running way too high shots of nitrous with a dry setup and ran super lean......burnt the valves and the tops of the pistons.

Never saw it ... it went in to the dealership and came out one month later with a brand new engine and supercharger. ...minus the 9.5lb pulley.

Yep, one month and a few days for the entire process ... gremlin chasing, tear down, discovery of cause, corporate warranty documentation and replacement request thru both TMC and TRD (separate companies), approval of warranty repair, parts order, parts receipt, install, test, delivery.

...I did get a brand new SEV6 Camry freshly plucked off the lot as a free loaner for the entire duration of the repairs.

Is your car faster than the SE V6 camry? Just curious, cuz I saw two LOUD tcs at the auto parts place and I wondered how fast they were.

^ exactly.

There are a bunch of guys over at scionlife that have done some pretty extensive work on their tC's. If you can handle the childish drama of the site you might find the info you're looking for. Otherwise, contact Dezod/Dan Garner or PTuning, they have some badass tCs

Not sure ... probably. They're geared way differently. With the 9.5lb pulley, definitely. I was hitting 10lbs peak and was able to hang with my friends Porsche Boxster. Loud don't mean shit. My tC is quieter than stock and I have redone just about everything on the exhaust. All you hear is the SC whine and bpv pop when I shift. The GReddy muffler has a very muted sound even tho its close to 3".

Yep. Couldn't tell you who tho. I stay away from that type of stuff on this car as it's my daily driver.
