08 paint problems

I have a scion Tc 08 in crimson. Anytime anything(bird droppings, sap, hard water etc) gets on the paint it immediately eats through the clear coat and leaves a dull spot. I check the car several times a day and immediately remove any thing on it. Have it washed monthly sometimes 2 times and waxed every 2 or so months. I also park in a car port where there are no drips. Toyota refuses to do anything about it and keeps giving reason why it's my fault, and telling me this is just the way car paint is. My Husband drives an 06 Ford and still has perfect paint and he hardly ever cleans his car.
Has anyone else had problems and do you think they are right or I'm I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Who at Toyota are you talking to? The dealer or Toyota customer service? Call Toyota customer care if you haven't already and see what they say. They might be more inclined to help.

I have to say the paint in general on my 06 tC is pretty weak (prone to chipping and scratching), yours sounds like a unique issue. If i get bird crap on the car I don't dare wipe it off, I get the hose out and soak it til its moist and spray it off. Otherwise, and I know this from experience on this car, it'll scratch the shit outta the clear coat.

I went to the dealer, I'll give customer care a call. Thanks. Seems like the 08 paint isn't any better then the 06, mine scratches horribly too. I'll try rinsing off instead.

All tCs seem to have very thin paint.
