Buying TC with salvage title- price?

I was wondering if anyone could give me a good idea on what a TC was worth with a salvage title

Salvage info: car was ran into big puddle and had to get towed, brought to collision place and had some water on passenger side floor, insurance company totaled it. I think it happened last year so car has been out driving with no problems, owner claims it was hardly any at all, and i will pull the carpet to check it out and check all wire looms for corrosion of course.

carbon fiber hood, lowered, exhaust (has all stock parts also)
Clean inside and out

KBB is showing
$13.5k for excellent for retail

Then private party
$11,385 excellent
$10,685 good
$9,760 fair


THis car would probably be rated excellent or good shape but then the salvaged title

Any help on pricing?

Even less then that, I've seen '06s with 50k go for 7-8k, salvage would be around 4k.

yes if u miss a half of a car .You can get for 1k.. not if your car is in good conddition like his and don't need anything to be fix

Most insurance companies won't fully cover a vehicle with a salvage title.

So a salvage is worth about 1/3 of retail value?

Years ago i owned a 93 Prelude with salvage title and the dealer gave me $4500 as trade in when blue book was around $8000 (years ago) it was a theft recovery so i dont know how that compares to a salvage water damage situation, even though no repair was done to this Scion to fix the salvage
