Handling question

I'm going to say this up front, I'm a RWD lover. I am deeply saddened that RWD has slowly faded away.

Now that I've given that little intro.... I've been eying the tC for quite some time now. I like to design, the style, the look. My question is this: Is it possible to change out (or add to) the right suspension components to allow the FWD tC to handle more like a RWD vehicle?

You could easily get it to oversteer with the right suspension components. ...but why? You'll have no control.
With the same components and the right tires you can set it up to grip on a cloverleaf at 65mph so you can continue to accelerate out of the turn. ...sounds more fun imo.

If you want to drift, the tC isn't for you. Wait for Toyota to release the RWD FT-86.

I'm not looking to drift. I just don't want that crazy bad understeer that FWD is known for.

Upon digging around the net and reading up on the FT-86, which looks pretty damned sweet at this point. I might be best just to wait...

The FT-86 is indeed sweet.

FYI, FWD is not known for "crazy bad understeer" any more than RWD is known for significant oversteer. They're common exaggerated misconceptions. Both layouts can be built to handle very well and each has its benefits in real world driving.

You won't catch me oversteering in my tC. With the way I've tailored the suspension, if its gonna to let go at speed, its gonna be at the rear before the front.

PTuning along with World Racing both run on the track without front sway bars. The rear sway bar is beefed up, and of course things such as negative camber being added along with really wide tires. In PTuning's case, they run a staggered tire setup with wider tires up front than in the back. All these additions help to introduce oversteer into the FWD tC, making the car more neutral. This is what you want for a track car. For a street car perhaps not so much.
