09 Scion Tc torque converter question

Hello everyone! I recently acquired an 09 tc with a blown engine. I've pulled the engine/transmission out of the car and separated them to get the transmission ready for a new engine I ordered. My question is: what is the best way to remove and then re-install the torque converter onto the new engine? I was looking at the fsm and it has me somewhat confused. Ive replaced many clutches, but this will be my first torque converter and I don't want to mess anything up. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

There should be an inspection cover. Remove that and you should just be able to unbolt the torque converter from the flex plate. You'll have to turn the engine over by hand to access the bolts individually. That will separate the TQ from the engine. After that, it's just a matter of getting it all lined back up when you're putting it together.
