Mani/cat

Just a quick question. Being that the 05 Camry and the 05 tC both have the 2.4 engine (I am assuming the same engine) Would the mani\cat from the camry fit the tC? Are the bolt patterns and everything the same?

They Might be similar but i wouldn't count on them bolting up properly. The tc manifold is tubular to the converter whereas the camry is not...

"Fools", said I, "You do not know, silence like a cancer grows.
Hear my words that I might teach you. Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words, like silent raindrops fell, and echoed, in the wells of silence.....

Well, it's been right about a year and I wanted to get back to this. Even though the car now has a blown head gasket I'm dealing with, I did find a solution to the Low threshold code the cat was throwing. I put a CEL eliminator on the 02 sensor in back of the cat. I ran it for a couple hundred miles and went to have emission done. The car passed with flying colors. I had the car to Florida 3 times within the year and I was consistently getting 29.5 mpg on the road. The CEL Eliminator cost me $50 as opposed to the new Cat which would have been about $700.
