2001 Water Pump Replacement

Any tips/pitfalls/advice to replacing the water pump on a 4.7 liter engine? It's got 130K on the odometer and the drivebelt will be replaced as well as the idler and belt tensioner. Just thought I'd replace the water pump and stat while in there but was wondering if i can handle it on my own? Last water pump I replaced was on a 70 chevelle!

i just did my first at 210.000km.should be at 150.000.i recomend doin the pump since your in there.as far as doing it yourself?its not imposible but it does take awile just too get the timing belt off.expect about 4-5 hours start too finish.
