Tundra Coils for Tacoma lift

I just happened to stumble across this article about using Tundra coils for a Tacoma lift on the TTORA website. Other than a very stiff ride, it seems like a good setup to me. What do you guys think?

sounds like a nice stup to me. i hadnt heard of it being done but it sounds like it would work out perferctly. im not into getting air when i go four wheeling so i personally wouldnt worry about the shocks breaking. Besides id bet buying stock tundra coils would be cheaper then a lift of the same height. i know that im going to keep it in mind now.

Yah, it does sound like a good idea, and when you can get a set of coils from the junk yard for about $40, why not try it. When you can get a set of OME coils that give about 2" of lift and a much better ride, its hard to say if saving a few bucks is worth it. Never used either so i cant say one way or the other.
