tire fitment for lifted Tundra

Hey everyone, I am new to this site. I have an 04' Tundra and have put an adjustable coil-over suspension on the front. I am looking to put a 33x12.5-16 and am having trouble with the backspacing. I tested the clearance with a wheel tool at 4" backspacing and it just cleared the upper control arm. Is anyone else running a tire this wide? Has anyone else run into clearance problems with wider more agressive tires? I am about to purchase 16x8" wheels with 4" backspacing. I am hesitant to spend the money and still have clearance problems. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
