It appears to me that all the wiring exists on the truck such that cruise control could be added (it appears to lack only the cruise switch on the steering wheel and a double-pole brake light switch). Has anyone looked into doing this on the drive-by-wire V8 engine? It would be nice to hear that someone has tried this before I spend the money on a steering wheel with a cruise switch (switch not available separately, according to the parts man).
