Not sure which mobil filter you'll need, but you'll need 7 qts of oil. I would recommend Mobil 1 5w30

Thanks for the info. I'm going to go to pep boys to see if they can help wiith the filter info. I've looked for a site on the web that can tell me which filters I could use but I can only find the one for K&N filters.

I live in South Texas and the heat in the summer is pretty unbearable. Do you all think I would be ok with 5w30? I've been told that I should switch to 10W30 or maybe even sae 30. We go through a stretch of about 4-6 months where the temperature averages between 98 and 110. What do you recommend?

I would recommend looking in your owners manual. There should be a chart with temperature ranges and the type of oil to use in them. Really either one should be fine. On an 04 I would probably use 5w30. Its really up to you. Look at the chart and make your decision, if you can't find it I'll see if I can find it for you. 5w30 covers the entire range that 10w30 covers. Basically in a cold climate you don't want to use 10w30, but 5w30 is pretty much good all over. I don't really think you see a difference using either one.
