'05 Tundra - Audio Upgrades?

I was thinking of upgrading the system in my '05 Tundra and wanted to get some thoughts from people who have done it already. Can a sub fit under the back seats? What are some of the best options for upgrading etc... I want to be able to use my ipod with the new head deck as well.

I have searched all over and can't find anyone who has posted regarding this. Any help is appreciated.

I don't think anyone has a kit to replace the OEM radio . Lord knows I've looked for one and can't find one. I have seen a few post here about adding subs and Ipod interfaces.

willjohnson do you have a double cab? if so, then youre limited to smaller subs, but ive seen a post where someone put two 6.5" subs under the 60 portion of the 60/40 rear seat. you can add subs to your stock headunit, and you can even get an adapter from P.I.E to be able to plug your ipod into your stock headunit.

vindeezel, you can add subs without cutting factory wiring, just get a line output converter, and splice into the rear speaker wires using T-taps

Dont you loose your CD player/changer if you add the PIE interface?

only if you have an external cd changer. your head unit's cd player or changer is unaffected. you click on cd once for the headunit and a second time for the ipod or other external device.
