Please let me know if any of you have experienced this.
At about 40,000 miles I began to notice a creaking noise from the brake pedal area with every downward and upward movement of the pedal. I lubed the linkage and checked the spring, no change. It's not loud, but if you have the radio off or low and are in rush hour traffic it will drive me nuts. Closer inspection seems to indicate that the source is somewhere behind the dust boot at the firewall. Anyone seen this or have suggestions? Thanks!
