2000 4runner power antenna

Is there any way to replace the power antenna without removing the fender?

If just the antanna mast is broken, you can just buy that part - Try third party to save money if you like. And then just feed in the new mast/tail by incerting and turning the radio off. Don't know about removal of the entire assy, but find it hard to believe you have to remove the entire fender!

When my antenna on my 95 Runner went bad, I just removed the plastic fender liner enough to get my hand inside the fender well to unwire the motor. The antenna stays up all the time, which I like better than that annoying up and down everytime you turn ignition on and off.

Thumbs up power antenna

Thanks for the tip Harley. The antenna motor was driving me crazy. The dealer wanted almost 200 bucks to fix it. I could not find the fuse. Unplugging it was a perfect solution.
