vibration on 99 4runner
hello all you truck 4runner owners out there.
I purchased a new standard 5 speed 199 4runner and has noticed a vibration around 2700-2800 rpm in any gear.
the dealer have replaced drive shaft, clutch disk and the differential components all to no change.
I have had the tires balanced and then changed to no effect also.
More recently there is a clunking noise when accelerating/decelerating or changing from forward to reverse.
If anyone has any hints or ideas please let me know. I have raised the issue with Toyota Canada and they have promised to have it fixed but the dealer is telling me they want to test another standard 4runner as the automatic does not exhibit the same vibration.
