I've heard that when replacing the idler arm on a Toyota truck, don't go for a genuine Toyota replacement part but instead go for a Moog replacement part. The Moog idler arm is suppose to be stronger and better built than the ones Toyota make. Summit Racing is a Moog dealer just in case you need a part number/price.
My torsion bars are cranked up a bit and I believe that is what caused my two idler arm failures. I need to get one of these braces to see if they will help the next time I replace my idler arm. Both NWOR and Downey sell their own version of the brace.
