88 4runner - needs lift

I just got an 88 4runner and I wanna build a decent on road and flexy off-road suspension. I'd like atleast 4" of suspension lift with 1" of body lift max. and to run 33x12.50's with 15x8 wagon wheels.


I had a 97 Jeep wrangler and won 2 ramp travel contests with it. It was my daily driver and weekend basher. I gave it Hell. Had 4.56 gears and ARB air Locker ect..... I want this truck to be a contender. LOL

sell the truck and get an 85 or older with a solid axle

Hell No I don't wanna sell it. It's a beautiful truck thats been well care for inside and out. Has Low Miles. I'd Rather convert it to solid axle than sell it.

But for now I just want a lift period.

Is Skyjacker's or Superlifts Lift decent?
